(Bells Hill Road, Fobbing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bells Hill Road, Fobbing in the District of Basildon, from its junction with Leonard Road for a distance of approximately 96m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2230129 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bells Hill Road, Five Bells Slip Road From Southend Road Westbound, Nether Mayne, Five Bells Roundabout North, and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 7th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Grandview Road, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grandview Road, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 57m from its junction with Common Approach for a distance of approximately 42m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th September 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD038SEW-10944-LINE-95 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks. org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer relining works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Grandview Road, Raymonds Drive, Park Road, Hart Road, Common Approach and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hannett Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hannett Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 64m south of its junction with Smallgains Avenue, for a distance of approximately 48m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000625469 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas service works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Holbek Road, Bardenville Road, Smallgains Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Homestead Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Homestead Way, Hadleigh) (Suspension of One Way) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Homestead Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point from its junction with High street for a distance of approximately 35m in a southeasterly direction.



2. To temporarily suspend the One Way traffic in Homestead Way, Hadleigh as detailed in 'The Urban District of Benfleet (Various Streets, Hadleigh) (One Way Traffic) Order 1969.



The closure and suspension are scheduled to commence on 29th September 2017 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034775989 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while supply for new development works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via High Street, Homestead Way, Homestead Gardens and Homestead Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Various Roads, Basildon District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.11) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in Schedule 1.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Basildon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 21st September 2017 exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
