Grays Athletic have announced two new additions to their squad following the arrival of full backs Joseph Zerafa and Ben Sampayo.
The Blues have added international experience in Maltese left-back Zerafa. The 26 year-old utility man, who can play midfield, has two caps for his country after spending his entire career in homeland Malta playing for Birkirkara FC.
Sampayo began his career in the youth squad at Chelsea but has since joined Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelmsford City and Greenock Morton.
At just 21, the right-back will look to break his way into Jody Brown's first XI at Mill Field as he aims to settle into the side. Zerafa and Sampayo's arrival make it three signings in the space of a week for Grays, after midfielder Lewis Dark reunited himself with former coach Brown last week.
The defenders will look to boost Blues promotion prospects after an up and down start to their Ryman Premier campaign as they sit ninth in the table.
