PRIMARY school children from across the borough performed together at the annual Thurrock Infant and Junior Music Festival.
The event, organised by Thurrock Music Services saw more than 2,000 pupils from schools across Thurrock perform songs around the theme of “All Creatures Great and Small”.
The younger children were led by Shana Elliott.
Marilyn Whiskerd, school engagement lead at Thurrock Music Services, said: “This year we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Thurrock Music Festivals and the standard of singing was exceptionally good, evidenced by standing ovations from the audience. There was a tangible sense of achievement and pride felt and so richly deserved by the participating children.”
