A drug driver has been banned from driving for 16 months.
Andrej Pacaj was stopped by police in Boston Avenue on Monday, April 2 during a bank holiday policing operation in Southend.
He tested positive for cannabis in a roadside drug wipe test and blood tests later showed he had more than the legal limit of cannabis in his system.
Pacaj, 29, of London Road, Westcliff, admitted drug-driving, driving without insurance, driving without an MOT and possession of cannabis when he appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on October 8.
He was banned from driving for 16 months, fined £290 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
