A127
The westbound carriageway of the A127 will be closed overnight this Friday.
It will be closed between its junction with The Fairway and the borough boundary to allow for essential resurfacing.
From October 26, entry through the junction will be prohibited between 7pm to 7am on Saturday.
While the works are taking place, a diversion will be in place via Progress road, A1015 Rayleigh Road, A1015 Eastwood Road, A129 High Road to Rayleigh Weir Roundabout and vice versa.
Southend Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
