An investigation has been launched after a woman and baby were taken to a major trauma centre after a crash in Bexleyheath.
Officers were called to Danson Road at 10.15am yesterday morning (October 22) to reports of a crash.
The crash is believed to have been caused by a car that was being towed breaking free from the tractor unit.
However the driver of the tractor did not stop at the scene.
The female pedestrian, believed to be aged in her 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment,
Her injuries have been assessed as non-life threatening or life changing.
The child, a two-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries continue.
