MORE road closures are set to take place next week as part of the Ipswich Road improvement scheme.
Essex Highways has warned drivers that preparations are being made to close Ipswich Road, Colchester from the junction of Fenwick Drive.
The closure will be in a southerly direction for about 40m to its junction with Old Coach Road.
This is a continuation of the works on the northern side of the Fenwick Road junction and will remove the requirement for BT to close the junction again for works in the new year.
The closure will be in place from midnight on October 29 to 8pm on November 2.
The works will be carried out between 7am and 8pm.
Essex Highways Tweeted an update saying the two mini roundabouts have now been removed.
