A WOMAN suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by what is believed to be a motorbike which failed to stop.
Essex Police say a woman in her 70s was in collision with a vehicle, which they believe was a motorbike, near the area of Craven Avenue and Denham Road, Canvey, shortly before 9.30pm on Thursday, December 6.
The woman suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and has being taken to hospital for treatment.
The vehicle, which was travelling in the direction of Furtherwick Road, failed to stop at the scene, police say.
Officers closed the road while they investigated.
A spokesman said: "We are looking for anyone who saw or heard something, has CCTV or dash cam footage, or has any other information about what happened to call us on 101 quoting incident 1280 of December 6."
