A RESTAURANT is celebrating after winning a prestigious award.
Monty’s Curry House in Stanford-le-Hope won the Best Curry House in East of England award.
The eatery has also been working hard to raise cash for charity and held a charity night for Thurrock Young Carers.
Staff raised more than £1,000.
The restaurant is continuing supporting young carers by backing National Young Carers Awareness Day on Thursday, January 31.
Schools will be raising awareness in the assemblies and schools and businesses will be wearing yellow to raise awareness.
