A CAT was discovered dumped in a skip which had made a seven mile trip.
The black and brown moggie was discovered in Rayleigh when the skip was delivered. It had originally come from Canvey. The pet was found by a member of Tilly’s Cloud, a community group set up for members to share lost, stolen and found animals including cats, dogs, rabbits and birds, and information relevant to the welfare of animals
The cat was taken to the vets where it was found to be healthy but has not been microchipped.
It was found by Shannon Cottis, who shared the picture of the cat in the public Tilly’s Cloud Facebook group.
She wrote: “We found her when the skip came to my work in Rayleigh, we have been to the vets and she’s not been chipped.”
