AN INDOOR play centre helped to raise thousands of pounds for a hospice.
360 Play, in Festival Leisure Park, Basildon, chose St Luke’s Hospice, Basildon as its charity of the year last year and ended the year collecting £2,3331.09 for the hospice.
Hospice staff met with workers and mascots at the centre for a special cheque presentation event.
The hospice held a number of events to raise the cash at the centre.
A spokesman for the hospice said: “A massive thank you to 360 Play Basildon for choosing us as their 2018 charity of the year.
“We’ve had so much fun over the year.
“Without support like this, we wouldn’t have made such great relationships with families, as well as raised so much money.”
