Police have arrested three people in connection with robbery and burglary incidents across in Pitsea.
Officers were called at 10.30pm yesterday, Saturday, February 16, with reports of a burglary in Rectory Road.
The victim reported having his wallet and two watches stolen.
The police also received a call at 7am today about a robbery at McColls in Felmores End where two men came in, threatened a worker and took two tills.
They ran off from the scene.
A woman had been seen acting suspiciously outside the shop before the incident took place.
At around 11.30am officers arrested a 34-year-old man from Pitsea, a 31-year-old woman from Basildon a 38-year-old man from Basildon on suspicion of robbery and burglary.
They remain in custody for questioning.
