SOUTHEND United manager Chris Powell has urged his out of form side to maintain their belief.
The Shrimpers head into Saturday’s clash at Peterborough United sitting 20th in the League One standings having gone 10 games without a win.
But Powell wants Blues - who are only above the relegation zone on goal difference - to not lose hope.
“We’ve tried a lot of different things and we’ve got to keep trying and believe that in those eight games we can get enough points to make sure we’re still a League One club,” said Powell.
“Tough times force people to be tough and angry to get through it because I know on the other side it will be good.
“I’ve got to be as forceful as I can with the group to get them out of this.”
