A MAN has been arrested for allegedly trying to throw away a machete on train tracks.
The British Transport Police in Essex Tweeted about the incident which happened at Colchester Station on Friday.
It read: “Our cops arrested a man in Colchester for possession of this machete.
“Officers met an inbound train and removed the man who attempted to make off from us.
“He also tried to discard the machete on the tracks.”
A man was charged, it added.
