The Southend Pier Tea Rooms opened to the public just in time for the Easter heatwave.
Daytrippers flocked to the cafe over the scorching Easter weekend.
Public leaders said they are pleased.
John Lamb, Tory leader of Southend Council, said: “It is very exciting that the cafe is now open to the public.
“We had an excellent weekend with the weather.
“I think the fact Jamie and Jimmy filmed there is a big attraction.
“It’s an excellent venue and Jamie Oliver has done wonderful work.”
