Two boys charged after man left with life-threatening head injury
Two boys are due in court following reports a man suffered a serious head injury during a brawl in Hadleigh.
A 14-year-old from Leigh has been summonsed for wounding without intent and a 16-year-old from Benfleet has been summonsed for assault by beating and resisting arrest.
The boys, who cannot be named be named for legal reasons, are due to appear at Basildon Youth Court on Tuesday, May 14.
It follows reports a man fell during an altercation near to McDonalds in High Street, at around 8.55pm on Sunday, October 14, 2018.
The man was left in a life-threatening condition with a serious head injury.
