Wimpy Southend has taken top honours in the annual Wimpy of the Year awards for the second year in a row.
Delighted franchisee George Killi, said: “We were all really thrilled to have won again.
“The secret of our success is everyone’s hard work and always doing the best we can, and we must also say thank you to our very loyal customers, who always support us.”
Wimpy Southend Victoria, which is run by George with his wife Anna and a team of 12 staff, scored highly in attention to detail, customer care, and team performance.
The outlet was one of three winners in the awards, each chosen by UK region, and Chris Woolfenden, general manager, Wimpy UK, who said: “Many congratulations to George and all his team. The competition is always extremely tough and we are both proud and delighted to be able to reward their dedication.”
