A WORTHING woman is set to appear on ITV’s hit reality show Love Island.

Amy Hart, 26, pictured on the right, is a British Airways stewardess and beauty pageant star.

She has been lined up by producers for this year’s dating show set in a Spanish villa.

Ms Hart is the daughter of funeral director Ian Hart and is a former Miss West Sussex.

A TV source told The Sun newspaper that: “Amy has been a fan of Love Island for years. She’s always dreamed of being on the show.”

The source said that she was convinced to go on the show after fellow air stewardess Laura Anderson took part last year.

The source added: “It really spurred her on and gave her even more of a reason to apply."

At aged 21, Ms Hart was chosen to be the face of Wombat Leather, a company specialising in leather hats and bags.

She was chosen ahead of 25,000 staff members from British Airways to star in a Sunday Times Magazine feature.

Love Island returns to our screens on June 3.

The show features a group of attractive 20-somethings, who vie for each other’s affections.

Contestants are eliminated if they are not “coupled up”.

New cast members and challenges are introduced to make things difficult and they are made to “re-couple”.

Molly-Mae Hague, ex-girlfriend of Leicester City footballer James Maddison, is also set to appear.
