A FORMER world heavyweight champion will deliver a knockout blow at a special meet and greet event.

Tyson Fury will visit Sussex this summer, coming to the White Rock Theatre in Hastings on July 4.

The man known as the “Gypsy King” will meet fans, pose for photos and tell all about his remarkable career in between the ropes.

Fury’s professional career began in 2008 and since then he has contested 28 bouts, winning 27 with one match tied.

Fury made headlines across the sporting world in 2015 when he became the unified heavyweight champion, dethroning legendary boxer Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.

Since then personal issues have meant that he has vacated the titles he won, without having actually lost a match to lose them.

In June 2018 he made his long awaited comeback.

In that bout he defeated the Albanian Sefer Seferi at the Manchester Arena.

Fury’s most recent fight ended in controversy after going 12 rounds with Deontay Wilder in LA in December 2018.

The match ended in a draw, much to the disappointment of the fans in attendance and watching at home.

Fury is a prominent figure on social media and can often be found on Twitter voicing his opinions.

Tyson has five children with wife Paris and also works as an ambassador for The Frank Bruno Foundation – a mental health charity founded by the former heavyweight boxer.

Tickets to see Tyson Fury at the Hastings White Rock Theatre are on sale now.

Tickets for the show cost £39. Tickets for the show and a photograph with Fury cost £79 and tickets for the VIP meet and greet cost £179.
