MAJOR disruption has hit trains across south Essex after damaged electricity wires have left a line blocked.
The overhead wires between London Fenchurch Street and Barking have resulted in the line being closed, with multiple services between London and Southend cancelled.
So far, at least eight c2c trains between Fenchurch Street and Shoebury have been cancelled, with more expected this afternoon.
It is not known how long the line will be blocked for.
