High winds have caused delays at the Southend Carnival Beer Festival.
The event was due to start at 12pm in Priory Park but has now been delayed until 3pm due to the weather.
A post on the organiser's Facebook page reads: "Due to today’s high wind conditions exceeding the allowed health and safety tolerance for our stage and supporting marquees, we have had to delay the opening of today’s beer festival from Midday to 3pm.
"We look forward seeing you and appreciate your support."
The event will feature a wealth of real ales, ciders and a wine and prosecco bar as well as "Meet the Brewer" sessions and music and entertainment.
