An air ambulance has landed after a man was stabbed in Pitsea.
The helicopter landed in the Range car park in Pitsea shortly after 2pm today.
Police rushed to the scene after being called by the ambulance service.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called by the ambulance service to Burns Avenue, Basildon just before 2.00pm today (Wednesday August 14), following reports that a man in his 30s had been stabbed.
"Officers are in attendance and are searching the area.
"The man has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
"No arrests have been made."
