RAVERS jumped and jived to groovy tunes at a day rave in Prittlewell.
The Railway Tavern held one of its regular groove day raves at the premises on East Street on Saturday.
Dozens of people turned up to dance to 90s music throughout the afternoon, overseen by DJ Foss, who created the event.
Situated next to the train station. the tavern has a large garden at rear of pub.
The pub gets very busy on Southend United match days and is considered a home pub for fans.
A spokesman for the pub thanked guests for turning out.
he said: “We absolutely smashed it on Saturday.
“Thank you to all the DJs all the staff and the extra helpers and every single one of you that drank us dry.
“We hope to see you you all on October 26 for our Halloween groove, which we expect to be just as successful.”
The event began at 1pm, and lasted throughout the day and night until the early hours of the following morning.
The pub’s next event will be held on Friday which will be focused on reggae music.
There will be music from Boss Reggae, Rocksteady, Ska, 2-tone and many others. Visit www.facebook.com/TheRailwayPrittlewell.
