A POPULAR vintage fair is returning to Colchester to throw visitors back in time.

Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair will be returning to Charter Hall on September 29.

Charter Hall will again play host to 30 stalls from some of the UK’s best vintage traders in an autumn special edition.

The fair offers vintage clothing, accessories, home ware and collectables, with items from every era from the 1940s to the 1980s.

There will be a pop-up beauty salon and a traditional tea room. The Travelling Tea Party will be putting on a spread of cakes.

Lou Lou Glover, the event’s creator, said: “I think vintage has become so popular lately as we’ve all become more aware of the impact that buying new, fast fashion has on the environment and our wallets.

"Buying vintage is not only an affordable and environmentally conscious way to shop, you can also find something unique and fashionable from our specialist traders.”

Lou Lou’s Colchester Vintage Fir runs from 10am until 4pm.

Entry is £2.50 for adults and free for children under 12-years-old.
