A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing on Canvey.
The alleged attack took place in Link Road yesterday evening.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "A man has been arrested following an incident on Canvey where a man was assaulted.
"A man in his 20s sustained two stab wounds to his ribs in Link Road at around 5.55pm on Sunday 3 November and was treated by paramedics.
"A 30 year-old man from Canvey was arrested this morning (Monday November 4) on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody."
