SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell is confident the returning Stephen Humphrys will make a big difference to the Shrimpers.
Humphrys, who has missed Blues’ last five matches with a thigh problem, is expected to be back in action next week.
And Campbell cannot wait to have the striker available again.
“Stephen Humphrys isn’t far off now and that’s good news for us,” said Campbell.
“I think he’s someone who is going to make a big difference.”
Humphrys, who is Southend’s top scorer with five goals this season, is pushing to be back against either Burton Albion on Tuesday or Bristol Rovers next weekend.
Midfielder Sam Mantom is also available after recovering from a hamstring injury which kept him out for close to two months.
