A BODY has been found in the search for a missing Basildon man.
The search for Aaron Cullingford, 43, has been suspended following the discovery today.
Aaron was last seen on Tuesday 26 November.
Essex Police stated volunteers from Essex Search and Rescue found a man’s body in Pitsea earlier this afternoon.
The cordon had been extended earlier today, with police seen searched areas under the A13 (pictured) as part of the investigation.
While formal identification is yet to take place, Aaron’s family have been informed.
Police remain open minded regarding the cause of death and a post mortem examination will take place in due course.
