Police are appealing for information after a woman was hit by a car in Southend on Friday.

A black car collided into a 30-year-old woman who was crossing Boscombe Road at the junction of Sutton Road at around 10.20pm.

The woman has sustained minor injuries.

The black car has been described as having a sticker on the side.

Police said: “The driver has been described as wearing a flat cap, stopped to check on her but left without leaving their details.

“Anyone with information about the incident has CCTV or if you think this might be you please call Southend Local Police Team on 101 quoting incident 1287 of the 10 January.”
