SOUTHEND police have increased patrols around a Westcliff primary school to target "dangerous" driving as pupils are dropped off and picked up.
Officers have also visited the school and discussed concerns staff have with "dangerous driving" when children are taken to school or when they leave to go home.
Police have patrolled the area on numerous occasions to keep the pupils safe and to continue to work with partner agencies like Southend Council to tackle the ongoing issues.
They say they have had some great results so far and will continue to make it a safe place for the pupils.
One person posting on the police Facebook page said: "The driving, parking and general manoeuvring of vehicles is often breathtakingly dangerous.
"Please, please give this problem some significant attention before a child is killed or seriously injured."
