The crash happened on the A12 near to Stratford St Mary
A WOMAN had to be rescued from her car following a crash.
Firefighters from Colchester and Wivenhoe were called to help with the incident, which happened near to junction 30 on the A12 at Stratford St Mary.
It took crews nearly an hour to free the woman, who had been trapped in her car as a result of the crash.
She was then left in the care of the ambulance service.
The crash happened around 9pm on Saturday.
