A weather warning for snow and ice is in place across parts of Essex this morning and tomorrow.
The Met Office has warned wintry showers and icy stretches are likely to bring travel disruption across the county's roads.
The yellow warning, which was issued from 10pm last night until 10am this morning, has been extended to the east of the country.
The Met Office said: "The warning is extended further east, where wintry showers may leave icy patches for the morning rush hour."
A second yellow warning for snow runs from midnight tonight until midday tomorrow, Thursday February 27.
