WEAPONS and drugs evidence were found during a police sweep of a park.
Essex Police officers from Operation Sceptre conducted a search of Leigh Library Gardens yesterday.
The team, which focuses on tackling violent crimes in Essex including knife crimes, discovered one knife, six nitrous cannisters, one glass breaker, and on dinosaur's leg, a drugs-related item.
Enquiries are ongoing to find the owners of the weapons.
