Hard-working vets from an animal charity sadly were unable to save a mother fox.
The animal lovers from South Essex Wildlife Hospital in Orsett rushed to the creature's aid in Corringham.
Sue Schwar charity hospital founder asked residents to keep an eye out for the cubs.
She said: "South Essex Wildlife Hospital rescued a lactating vixen from old corringham today that couldnt be saved.
"Please could folks keep an eye out for orphan cubs in the area. Thank you."
