A PATIENT has been transported to hospital following an incident in Southend.
The East of England Ambulance Service Trust attended an incident in Royston Avenue in Southend at 12.30pm today.
A spokesman for the trust said: "We responded to an emergency call shortly before 12.30pm on Friday regarding an incident on Royston Avenue, Southend.
"We sent three ambulances and an air ambulance to the scene.
"We transported the patient to Southend University Hospital for further treatment."
