Pictures show aftermath of last night's Westcliff crash
Pictures have shown the aftermath of a nasty car crash, which happened in Westcliff last night.
Witnesses reported watching a car knock over a lampost before crashing into the water mains outside Mornington House on Station Road yesterday evening.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the road traffic accident at around 7.30pm, where fire crews confirmed nobody was trapped in the vehicle.
At the time of the incident, Essex Police Southend posted on their Facebook page: "PCSO's Jones and Westall are currently assisting police officers and a fire crew at the scene of a road traffic collision in Station Road, Westcliff.
"If you have any information, please contact Essex Police on 101."
