There have been no more covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, figures have revealed.
New data, which has been published today, revealed how there have been no more deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours at Basildon Hospital, with the trust facing three coronavirus deaths in the last 48 hours.
At Southend Hospital, data has shown that there have also been no recorded covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.
A further 147 people, who tested positive for the virus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 25,691.
This included 24 deaths in the East of England.
Patients were aged between 43 and 98 years old. Five of the 147 patients (aged between 46 and 84) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
