A RESTAURANT’S front window was shattered just days after it re-opened after more than two months.
Staff at French Martini, in Western Road, Billericay, have been doing their bit to help the community by providing food and drinks to the NHS and offering a delivery service to customers.
In preparation for re-opening, the restaurant and lounge bar launched a new menu and the business was stacked with orders.
Members of the community expressed their disappointment and anger, with one even offering to replace the glass.
Lisa Howard said: “I don’t know what is wrong with people. French Martini have done an amazing job during lockdown.”
A spokesman for Essex Police, said: “A window at French Martini Lounge Bar was broken sometime around midnight on June 4. No entry was gained to the building.”
