A CHARITY has announced a community hall will remain closed even though lockdown restrictions are being eased.
Trustees of the Ramsey War Memorial Hall and Recreation Ground group have decided to reopen the play ground, in Church Hill, Ramsey but to keep the hall shut.
A statement said: “Whilst Government guidance permits us to open on July 4, most of our activity is either fitness or dance, which is not permitted.
“Social distancing restrictions would see other groups attendance having to be significantly reduced.
“Whilst we would love to be back in operation the safety of our users remains paramount.
“Of course, you can still enjoy the green space observing the social distance guidance at all times and removing any rubbish.”
