TWO men will go before the courts after a teenager was robbed at knife-point.
It was reported a 17 year-old boy was threatened with a knife and had his mobile phone and a small amount of money taken in Rosemary Road, South Ockendon on January 20 last year.
Four people were arrested at the time following the incident.
Melvin Bautista, 20, of Tunmarsh Lane, London, and 19 year-old Abid Ahmed, of Wells Park Road, London, have been summonsed to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on August 8.
Bautista is due to face charges of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon while Ahmed is due to face charges of robbery and possession of a knife, blade or pointed article in a public place.
The two other people arrested had previously been told they face no further action.
