Woman dies after serious crash involving bus
A woman has died after a crash involving a bus, in Braintree today.
The woman, who was in her 40s, was in Coggeshall Road at around 1.10pm.
Officers have informed the woman’s family and the bus driver is assisting police with their enquiries.
The road remained closed between Wheatley Avenue and Bartram Avenue North.
Police are trying to establish the circumstances of the crash and would like to speak to anyone who saw the woman walking in the area ahead of the incident.
Police would also like to hear from anyone with any mobile, CCTV or dash cam footage.
