A FIRM turned to technology to keep it running when lockdown hit.
LKA Recruitment, based in Sir Isaacs Walk, is one firm which has adapted during the weeks and months since the pandemic began.
The firm’s staff which were not furloughed worked at home for more than three months.
Unable to do face-to-face interviews they switched to working remotely using Zoom, email and phone helping their clients to find jobs.
Now back in the office the team are following strict Covid rules and continue to help applicants using technology.
Liz Mullenger, from LKA Recruitment, said: “LKA was very lucky during lockdown, we have several clients who are key business services and were kept very busy.
“My staff were amazing throughout lockdown. They adapted to their new working environment.
“We had daily conference calls and when we were allowed, we met in the garden for afternoon tea, which was a boost for everybody.
“I kept in touch on a regular basis with all staff whether furloughed or not to ensure they were physically and mentally fit during this difficult time, and offering any help if they needed it.”
