IF you’re on the lookout for a bargain property in Southend, feast your eyes on these six properties.
The housing market is beaming just a matter of months after the initial coronavirus outbreak back in March thanks to the stamp duty holiday.
If you took advantage and snapped up one of these six homes found in various locations across south Essex’s seaside town, you could save up to £15,000 due to the recent tax cut.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak unveiled a major stamp duty cut in July in a bid to boost the housing market.
Mr Sunak raised the threshold at which buyers have to start paying stamp duty, with immediate effect, from £125,000 to £500,000 in England and Northern Ireland.
It means that nearly nine out of 10 home purchases are no longer subject to stamp duty, with the average bill falling by £4,500.
