A YELLOW weather warning is in place for Oswestry and other areas of north Shropshire for the rest of the week.
The Met Office updated its yellow warning for rain to include areas which included parts of the town, as well as nearby areas such as Llanymynech, Llanrhaeadr and Kinnerley.
Warnings for heavy rain are currently in place from Thursday through to the end of the weekend.
Areas near Oswestry across the Welsh border are being warned to expect heavy rain plus potential floods and disruption.
Chirk and the Ceiriog Valley can also expect heavy rain in line with the weather warning for Sunday.
