A suspected drug dealer was interviewed after a haul of drugs were seized during a dramatic raid at a home.

Officers searched the home in Grays and seized class A and B drugs, and nitrous oxide cannisters.

A spokesman for Thurrock Policing Team said: "On Saturday 24 October, officers from C shift CPT conducted a warrant at an address in Grays, assisted by PC Pitchford and PD Chip from our Essex Police dog section, and officers from our Operational support group. During the search the officers found class A and B drugs, and nitrous oxide cannisters.

“A male was interviewed for possession with intent to supply under the misuse of drugs act, and possession with intent to supply under the psychoactive substances act. The investigation is still ongoing."
