A CRASH has blocked the A127 in Westcliff this morning.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash which happened at the Kent Elms junction in Eastwood.

The crash took place shortly after 6am, with residents near the scene reporting at least two cars were involved.

Police and paramedics were spotted at the scene, and the road has been blocked on the Southend-bound carriageway.

Queues of traffic have built back to the junction with Bellhouse Road.
