SURGERY staff and patients have helped support our struggling families with food donations.

Orsett Surgery handed over the supplies to Thurrock foodbank with huge piles of food and goodies.

Bosses say the donations will go down a real treat and be so appreciated by the families.

A spokesman said: “Huge thank you to all the staff and patients and staff at Orsett Surgery for the great reverse advent donation we picked up today which filled 15 crates and weighed in at an amazing 155.6kg.

“Thank you for your kindness, we really do appreciate it.”
