LIKE many, I’m sure, my spirits were lifted with the announcement that the government is to begin the rollout of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.
Due to this pandemic, it has been a wretched and tragic year for so many people.
While NHS and key support workers have deservedly been recognised and praised for their efforts during this dreadful time, I would also like to highlight and offer my appreciation and thanks to the frontline scientists who have worked so hard for a cure as well as those brave volunteers who have taken the trial vaccines to provide hope for us all.
