Commuters are facing delays and cancellations for trains after flooding blocked tracks.
c2c bosses say signaling system caused by flooding in the West Horndon area is delaying and affecting services across the whole networks.
Commuters are advised to check for changes, use Greater Anglia services and apply for refunds it necessary.
It comes after a driver has been forced to abandon their car which is now stranded in water after heavy flooding.
Pictures of Southend Road, near Fobbing, have shown how a large section of the road is submerged in water.
