THE Met Office has revealed a yellow weather warning for Southend and south Essex, warning of a risk of snow and ice which could lead to disruption.
The warning is place from 8am tomorrow (Sunday) until midnight and could mean 1 to 3cm of snow in places.

The Met Office said: "An area of rain and snow will linger over south-east England Sunday leading to some icy stretches and some travel disruption."
What to expect
Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
There are also likely to be some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths

- Brighton and Hove
- Buckinghamshire
- East Sussex
- Greater London
- Kent
- Medway

- Surrey

However, the Essex Weather Forecasting Centre tweeted today snowfall was still uncertain.
Good morning. Sunshine and wintry showers today and feeling cold with temperatures only reaching 3C inland. Very cold overnight with widespread frost and ice, down to -5C. Maybe some snow tomorrow, details uncertain still.
