A SOUTH Essex high street will remain closed as crews for just over a week as works are done to fix a collapsed sewer pipe.

Brentwood High Street was initially closed yesterday morning, March 10, for an excavation to repair a collapsed sewer pipe.

The road was shut in both directions between Crown Street and Kings Road and remains shut as Thames water crews carry out repairs.
